The Crenshaw Cougars (13-0) are going national. The Wall Street Journal, once known only for its business coverage, decided to do a story on the rise of Crenshaw and the help of a youth football league founded by Snoop Dogg in the development of the Cougars. Here’s the story.
I do have one problem with the story. In the lead, it talks about Crenshaw being ‘once a doormat.’ I can’t remember when any Crenshaw football team was a doormat.
