Amber Smith scored a three-pointer with just under two minutes left in the game to lift Canyon Springs to a 51-48 lead.
But Santa Monica’s Bianka Balthazar responded by hitting a three-pointer with 18 seconds left on the clock to take the Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinal into overtime tied 51-all on Thursday at Santa Monica.
