Softball: Ayala’s Hall is Gatorade state player of the year

UCLA-bound Jessica Hall from Chino Hills Ayala has been named the Gatorade state player of the year in softball.
Hall, a left-handed pitcher and first baseman, led Ayala to the Southern Section Division 3 championship, compiling a record of 28-3 and 0.68 ERA.
She had 336 strikeouts and fired four no-hitters, including two perfect games.
