The preliminaries are over, now its time for the main event at the Anaheim Convention Center.

In one corner is top-seeded Long Beach Poly (28-1), led by USC-bound point guard Alexis Moore. The Jackrabbits are coming off a 60-53 semifinal victory over fourth-seeded Etiwanda.

In the other corner is third-seeded Corona Centennial, paced by senior guard/forward Dominique Dunning, who has signed with New Mexico. The Huskies upset second-seeded Santa Ana Mater Dei 60-58 in Tuesday’s other semifinal.

The key to the game could be how well Poly handles Centennial’s vaunted pressure defense.

The teams have taken the court for warmups and fans are starting to file in. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
