Scott Pearson sure knows how to make an impact at L.A. Cathedral. The former Roosevelt coach has guided the Phantoms to a second consecutive Camino Real League championship after a 13-2 victory over St. Bernard, clinching the title.
Jaime Figueroa, Oscar Leong and Julian Perez each had two doubles. Cathedral is 22-4 overall and 12-1 in league.
Gardena Serra defeated Sacred Heart, 13-2. Khalil Denson improved to 5-0.
