The next-to-last Southern Section baseball polls before seedings are announced next Monday were released, and barring any major upsets, they serve as a good indicator how the seedings will be drawn.

In Division 1, Huntington Beach Edison is No. 1, followed by No. 2 Santa Ana Mater Dei, No. 3 JSerra, No. 4 Vista Murrieta, No. 5 Valencia, No. 6 El Toro, No. 7 Camarillo, No. 8 Westlake, No. 9 Lakewood and No. 10 Esperanza. I think El Toro is a little too low considering how well it has been playing of late.

In Division 2, Trabuco Hills is No. 1, followed by No. 2 Cypress, No. 3 Chaminade, No. 4 Arcadia, No. 5 Crescenta Valley, No. 6 Redlands, No. 7 Santa Barbara, No. 8. Harvard-Westlake, No. 9 Glendora and No. 10 Pacifica. Crescenta Valley plays Arcadia on Friday. Chaminade could end up sharing the Mission League title with Harvard-Westlake.
