Newport Harbor’s Dan Stevens picked for 17U championships

Junior water polo standout Dan Stevens from Newport Harbor has been selected to represent the United States in the UANA Pan American Water Polo Youth (17U) Championships Aug. 3-14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Stevens is a member of the USA Water Polo Youth national team.
Two Newport Harbor girls’ players will be busy this summer. Senior Madison McLaren made the Youth national travel team that will train in Hungary, July 16-27. And incoming freshman Carlee Kapana, a member of the Cadet national team, has been selected to the travel team for the girls’ Youth championships in Puerto Rico.
