Four pitchers from the Southern California-laden Milwaukee Brewers combined to hold the Chicago White Sox scoreless Tuesday in the Area Code Games at Blair Field in Long Beach.
Unfortunately for the Brewers, their White Sox counterparts did the same during a 0-0 tie.
Camarillo’s Hunter Virant pitched three shutout innings for the Brewers, followed by one scoreless inning each from Kieran Lovegrove of Mission Viejo, Cole Irvin of Servite, Connor Baits of San Diego Point Loma and Felipe Perez of Fairmont Prep.
The Brewers take a 2-1-1 record into their final game at 2:30 Wednesday against the Texas Rangers.
