Chatsworth softball Coach Jay Creps has been suspended from coaching in three nonleague games this coming season and the program has been placed on one year probation after Creps used an eighth-grader to play in two games last season.
The sanctions were handed down in June by the City Section rules committee. In addition, the ineligible eighth-grader is banned from playing varsity this coming season at Chatsworth, and Chatsworth is restricted from playing in two tournaments this season.
