Football: Bishop Gorman maintains 28-20 lead over Servite

Servite failed to score on its first possession of the second half after kicker Conner Beavans missed a 27-yard field goal attempt.

The Friars opened the third quarter with good field position after a 51-yard kickoff return by Sean Derosa. A pair of big catches by Ainslie Johnson got the Friars to the Bishop Gorman 10, but Servite came up short of scoring a touchdown when Neil Pauu dropped a pass on the close edge of the end zone.
