Boys’ basketball: Alemany stays on top in Mission League

Mission Hills Alemany continues to roll, improving to 19-3 overall and 8-1 in the Mission League after a 76-45 victory over St. Francis.
Marqueze Coleman scored 24 points and Max Guercy added 16 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and four steals. Bear Henderson had 16 points and Jerico Richardson 11. Alemany will play Santa Monica on Saturday in the Fairfax State Preview Classic at 1:30 p.m.
Loyola held off Chaminade, 58-53. Jaron Martin had a chance to tie the game but he missed on a shot with 11 seconds left. He finished with 26 points for Chaminade. Parker Cartwight led Loyola with 18 points.
Crespi defeated Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 66-52, thanks to the return of Michael Milligan Jr., who had missed this week’s games with a concussion. He had 13 points and 12 rebounds. London Perrantes added 12 points. Johnathon Bell scored 15 points for Notre Dame.
