Justin Vega hit a solo home run and had three hits and Scott Voets added three hits. Banning ace Erik Magdaleno was pulled with one out in the fourth after giving up 10 hits and six runs.
Chatsworth’s pitching was a little inconsistent, but Harsa Prahara came on in the seventh to halt a Banning rally. The Pilots dropped to 2-6.
In the Valley Mission League, San Fernando defeated Reseda, 10-0, in five innings. Carlos Robles had a double and triple. Granada Hills Kennedy defeated Canoga Park, 34-0, in five innings. Pablo Gonzalez threw a no-hitter.
