Ventura St. Bonaventure Coach Todd Therrien has received a one-game suspension as recommended by the Southern Section office after Therrien appeared at a local middle school and an announcement was made over the public-address system inviting students interested in playing football to come out for the talk.
Therrien will miss the Seraphs’ game against Garfield for the apparent recruiting violation.
Therrien was at the school at the invitation of a former St. Bonaventure student who’s an administrator at the school.
