Baseball: No-hitter for Newbury Park’s Luke Eubank

There aren’t many pitchers throwing better than Newbury Park senior Luke Eubank, who threw a no-hitter Wednesday in Newbury Park’s 6-0 Marmonte League victory over Calabasas.
He struck out five and walked one. Eubank is 4-0 and has walked just three betters in 28 innings while striking out 31.
Newbury Park is 7-1 overall and 3-0 in league.
Westlake defeated Simi Valley, 3-1, behind Tanner Kovach, who struck out five, walked one and scattered eight hits in a complete-game performance.
Agoura (7-1-1, 3-0) stayed unbeaten in the Marmonte League with a 5-2 win over Thousand Oaks. Tyler Cohen struck out three to get the save in the seventh after coming in with the bases loaded. Justin Cana had two RBIs.
Moorpark defeated Royal, 3-1. Jordan Guerrero struck out 14. Austin Cole went two for two.
