Boys’ basketball: Kevin Harris leads West Ranch win

Senior guard Kevin Harris scored 23 points as West Ranch defeated Sacramento Pleasant Grove 66-60 to win the consolation final at the Oaks Christian tournament.
Forward Ako Kaluna finished with 16 points and guard Cody Sanders made three three-pointers for the Wildcats (10-3), ranked 10th in the Southland by The Times.
In the 11th-place contest, host Oaks Christian was edged by Sacramento 65-63 in double overtime. Junior center Aleks Abrams led the Lions with 14 points but missed two free throws with .01 seconds left and the score tied in the first overtime.
K.J. Smith had 13 points and Duncan Miller added 12 for Oaks Christian (8-7).
