Pepperdine-bound Lamond Murray Jr. of Bishop Montgomery scored 19 points and was named MVP in helping the Southern Section defeat the City Section, 91-65, in the Collision all-star game on Saturday at Redondo.
Elijah Brown of Mater Dei also scored 19 points.
Matthew Grant of Westchester had 16 points for the City Section.
Siera Thompson of Gardena Serra was the MVP in the girls’ game won by the Southern Section, 78-53.
