Former Chatsworth baseball player James Wharton, a senior at Cal State Los Angeles, was named to the NCAA Division II All-West Region team. He was previously selected CCAA player of the year.
Wharton had 13 home runs and was hitting .322.
Another former Chatsworth player, Ryan Cooperstone, was named the CCAA championship tournament most outstanding player. He’s a senior at CSLA.
