Boys’ basketball: Opening pairings announced for Fairfax tournament

One of the top summer basketball tournaments is at Fairfax High from June 24 through June 29, and the opening round pairings have been announced.

First-round games for June 24: El Camino Real vs. Harvard-Westlake, 8:30 p.m.; Compton vs. Chino Hills, 7 p.m.; Corona Centennial vs. Crespi, 5:30 p.m.; Santa Monica vs. Loyola, 4 p.m.

First-round games for June 25: Long Beach Poly vs. Alemany, 8:30 p.m.; Mater Dei vs. Brentwood, 7 p.m.; La Canada vs. Fairfax, 5:30 p.m.; Chaminade vs. Orange Lutheran, 4 p.m.

The championship game is June 29 at 6 p.m.
