Thanks to the San Francisco 49ers’ win over the New York Giants in last Saturday’s National Football League playoff game, New York Mayor Ed Koch will airmail a dozen corned beef and pastrami sandwiches--as well as a chopped-liver mold in the shape of a heart--to San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein. The payoff is part of a wager the two mayors placed on the game. Had New York won, Koch would have dined on cracked crab and California wine.
