UCLA Endowed Chair Is Filled
The Regents of the University of California have appointed Eugan Weber, internationally renowned historian and author, to UCLA’s Endowed Chair in Modern European History.
A member of the UCLA faculty since 1956, Weber was dean of its College of Letters and Science from 1977 to 1982. He has published extensively on European history, especially that of France.
The Endowed Chair in Modern European History was established with a gift from Joan Palevsky, directory of research and a trustee of Immaculate Heart Center.
