Hungary said prices of a wide range of goods and services will be increased as much as 100% Feb. 1. It simultaneously announced modest boosts in wages and in some social benefits. Postal rates will increased by 80%, and bus, subway and streetcar tickets will double in price. Fuel costs will increase 25% to 30%. Wages will rise an average of 8% in 1985, the government said.
