Mike Burns, a 6-11, 235-pound sophomore center at Mesa (Arizona) Community College, has made a verbal commitment to attend Pepperdine next fall, announced Jim Harrick, Pepperdine basketball coach.
Harrick said that Burns, who averages 5.8 rebounds and 6 points at Mesa, will give the Waves a true center for the first time in several years.
