Helen Boelter, Active in UCLA Groups, Dies
Helen Starratt Boelter, a former official of several UCLA support groups, died Monday. The Pacific Palisades resident was 83.
Mrs. Boelter, widow of L. M. K. Boelter, founding dean of UCLA’s school of engineering and applied science, was active in the UCLA Engineering Auxiliary, UCLA Affiliates and the UCLA Emeriti Assn., among other groups.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Foerster of Los Altos; a son, Edgar Hermann of Pacific Palisades, and three grandchildren.
