Aztecs Beat USD For 3rd Straight Win
SAN DIEGO — The San Diego State baseball team earned its third straight victory, 9-2, Wednesday against the University of San Diego at SDSU’s Smith Field.
Steve Moscaret hit a three-run home run and Frank Mendicina had an RBI double to pace the Aztecs’ four-run first inning. Tim Arnsberg (2-1) pitched a complete game for the Aztecs (9-3). USD starting pitcher Tom Sizer (0-3) went six innings and picked up the loss. USD is 3-10-1.
