Two Join Academy

Dean George L. Turin and Prof. Lucien A. Schmit Jr. of the UCLA School fo Engineering and Applied Science have been elected to the National Academy of Engineering. This is the highest professional distinction that can be conferred on an American engineer, university officials said.
