Fountain Valley : Garden Homes Rezoning Proposal to Be Heard
A proposal to rezone a largely commercial 4.26-acre site to a “garden homes” district will be the subject of a public hearing at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting.
The request was submitted by the Fieldstone Co., owner of the land, which is generally located at the southeast corner of Newland Street and Talbert Avenue.
The company is also asking that the city’s general plan be changed to accommodate the new zoning. Besides “commercial, administrative and professional office,” portions of the site are now zoned “local business” and “single-family residential.”
The council meeting will begin at 8 p.m. at 10200 Slater Ave.
