BLINDED JUSTICE
A cover plus 3 1/2 pages for a 20-year-old singer? Comparing Maria McKee to Harris, Joplin, Parton and Ronstadt makes no sense. I’ve seen Lone Justice and they’re great, but the comparisons are too early.
Producers, managers, record executives, et al., are saying that they “don’t want to hype” or “don’t want to push” this group! This same group is touring, has major billing in Billboard and Calendar exposure--without one record to its credit. Someone protests too much.
From the way the article was (adoringly) written, do you think anyone will believe any of it? You’ve done more for the Lone Justice backlash than you know. Too bad.
