Royal Couple Honor British WW II Dead

ANZIO, Italy — The Prince and Princess of Wales laid a wreath Sunday at the cemetery where 2,800 British and Commonwealth soldiers who died during the Anzio landings of early 1944 are buried. The royal couple, continuing a 17-day tour of Italy, were accompanied by Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Andreotti at a solemn ceremony of remembrance at the Beach Head War Cemetery here.
