United Press International
ROME — Six suspected members of the Islamic Holy War guerrilla movement were indicted today on charges of plotting a suicide bomb attack on the U.S. Embassy last year.
State Prosecutor Rosario Priore ordered the six, all believed to be Lebanese citizens, to stand trial for “complicity in a massacre” and “membership of an armed band.” No trial date was set. Five of the six were in custody. The sixth is at large and will be tried in absentia, Priore said.
