Local News in Brief : Employee Stabbed in Store Robbery
An employee of a doughnut shop in Sun Valley was in serious condition Sunday night after she was stabbed during a robbery, authorities said.
The victim, a woman in her 30s whose name was not released, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, where she was being treated after surgery, a hospital spokesman said.
No other information about the woman was available.
Police were seeking two male suspects in the robbery, but no descriptions were released.
The robbery occurred at about 1 p.m. at Bud’s Donut Shop, 8949 Sunland Blvd., said Sgt. Louis Page. The suspects ran off with an undetermined amount of cash, he said.
