Suspected Arson Fire Kills 4
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A suspected arson fire today engulfed a two-story frame house near the Colorado State University campus, killing four young adults and slightly injuring a fifth, authorities said.
The survivor, Lisa Noland, 23, escaped the blaze by climbing out a bedroom window onto a porch roof where she was rescued by a neighbor with a ladder, officials said. The victims, three men and a woman, all were overcome by smoke and flames in the bedroom area of the second floor, he said. Their names were not released pending notification of relatives.
