Shots Fired at Youths: For the second time in two weeks, shots were fired from a passing car at youths leaving an Asian students’ dance at Cypress College, police said Sunday. No one was struck by the nine shots that were fired into two cars as they pulled out of the campus parking lot about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, according to Investigator Claude Eaglin. On June 30, a 15-year-old boy suffered a minor wound in the hip when a car in which he was riding was shot at as he and several friends left a similar dance at the college on Valley View Street. Eaglin said Sunday that no suspects had been arrested in either attack, and it had not been determined whether the two incidents were related.
