Fountain Valley’s Graham in Girls’ Tennis Final
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Second-seeded Jennifer Young and fifth-seeded Deborah Ann Graham scored semifinal victories Friday to earn the right to meet each other for the title of the USTA Girls’ 16 National Clay Court Championships.
Jennifer Young, of Worthington, Ohio, defeated Mary Beth Young of La Habra, 6-4, 6-3.
Graham, of Fountain Valley, tripped seventh-seeded Jessica Emmons of Phoenix, 6-4, 6-1.
The final of the United States Tennis Association event is scheduled for today at The Racquet Club of St. Petersburg.
