Datapoint agreed to settle two suits.

The San Antonio-based computer company agreed, without admitting liability, to settle a consolidated class-action stockholder suit and a separate suit for $22.5 million. Datapoint said $16 million of the settlement will be paid by its insurers, $3 million by an indemnity trust fund that it established earlier and $3.5 million by the company. Both suits alleged that Datapoint and certain officers violated securities laws between 1980 and 1982.
