Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found inside a four-wheel-drive van early Thursday.
The county coroner’s office identified the man as Ray Glenn Lucus, 29, and said he had been strangled. Police said Lucus was discovered about 1 a.m. by a security guard at the Bayview Heights Trailer Park on Bayview Heights Drive in Southeast San Diego. Lucus’ hands and feet were bound, and his body was partly stuffed into a duffle bag, police said.
