A Torrance man has been arrested by Los Angeles police in the shooting death of 33-year-old Michael Fay, whose body was discovered Saturday evening behind a building at Pershing Drive and Manitoba Street.
Christopher Erickson, 32, was arrested at his Torrance home on Sunday, according to Pacific Division Detective Chuck Worthen. He was booked at Pacific Division pending arraignment in Municipal Court.
Worthen said that Fay was shot Friday night at Erickson’s business, an automobile dealership at 305 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan Beach. Police said his body was apparently taken to Playa del Rey and dumped.
