Titan Women Win Volleyball Games
The Cal State Fullerton women’s volleyball team won two matches at the Idaho Classic Friday at Moscow, Ida. The Titans (3-0) beat Eastern Washington, 12-15, 15-12, 15-9, 15-10, in their morning match, then downed Gonzaga, 8-15, 15-8, 15-1, 15-5, in the evening.
Fullerton was led by Joan McGhee and Janet Kretschmar, who combined for 28 kills against Eastern Washington. In the evening match, McGhee added 15 kills and sophomore Wendy Knapp had 13. Fullerton meets Washington State today at 12:30, then faces Idaho (3-0) tonight.
