16 Hurt in Explosion, Fire on Roof of Bank

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A motor exploded and the sparks started a fire atop an 18-story building Monday. Three workers who were installing the motor suffered serious burns and 13 other persons were injured, officials said.
Authorities evacuated 350 persons from the American National Bank building, Fire Department Lt. Chuck Robbs said.
