Dockers Marking Funeral of Protester Halt Work

BALTIMORE — About 16,000 longshoremen at 300 North American ports stopped work briefly Saturday in observance of the funeral of a union dockworker killed while protesting the use of non-union workers to unload a ship on the Baltimore docks, the president of the international union said.
