The State - News from Oct. 20, 1985
Ten more finalists will be picked Tuesday in Whittier for the $2-million grand prize drawing of the California State Lottery. Officials said they will double the number of finalists because of unexpectedly brisk ticket sales and winner claims. The 10 original finalists were picked in Pico Rivera Oct. 15 from the first 6,250 winners of $100. Each of the finalists is guaranteed at least $10,000 when the wheel is spun on Oct. 28.
