The State - News from Oct. 20, 1985
A new state legal unit has been created to deal with the increasing number of jailhouse lawyers. The Correctional Law Section will represent the Department of Corrections, Board of Prison Terms and the California Youth Authority and their employees in lawsuits filed by prisoners who claim their rights have been violated or that they have been illegally imprisoned.
