Aztecs Extend UCLA in Soccer but Lose

Nick Skvarna and Mike Getchell scored goals to give the UCLA men’s soccer team a 2-1 victory over San Diego State in a Southwestern Conference match at Aztec Bowl. SDSU’s lone goal came in the 88th minute, by Aerick Brown. The Aztecs are 4-2, 7-6-3, the fifth-ranked Bruins, the No. 1 team in the West, are 4-2, 11-1-4.
