El Cajon
El Cajon Fire Department investigators suspect arson in a fire that caused moderate damage to El Cajon Aircraft Supplies, 1825 N. Marshall St., early Monday, a police spokesman said.
The fire was reported at 2:18 a.m. When firefighters and the police arrived, the company’s sprinkler system had extinguished the blaze, the spokesman said. The building sustained moderate fire, water and smoke damage, he added.
Fire Department investigators said it appeared that several fires had been set in different locations inside the business. An investigation is continuing, the spokesman said.
