Suspect in Killing Pleads No Contest
The woman accused of killing a 66-year-old Thousand Oaks man found strangled in a Portland, Ore., motel room July 17 has pleaded no contest to a charge of first-degree manslaughter.
Sandra D. Kunsman, 23, was charged with the death of Harry C. Hess, a retired tow truck operator who was visiting relatives in Portland. Kunsman entered the plea Friday before Oregon Circuit Court Judge Phillip T. Abraham.
