City Dedicates Housing Complex
Culver City officials Wednesday dedicated the Culver City Rotary Plaza, the city’s first housing complex for lower-income senior citizens. The 100-unit, $5.3-million complex is at 5100 Overland Ave. City officials used a lottery several months ago to select tenants. There is a 200-person waiting list for vacancies.
The apartments were built by Goldrich, Kest & Associates Inc. and developed in cooperation with the Rotary Club, Culver City and the nonprofit Retirement Housing Foundation.
