Golden West Wrestlers Defeated by Moorpark

The Moorpark College wrestling team handed Golden West its third straight defeat Friday night, 30-16, in a nonconference meet at Golden West.

The Rustlers (7-3) were led by Mark Ruiz, who defeated Moorpark’s Paul Delgado at 134 pounds, 18-8. In South Coast Conference action:

Cerritos 30, Cypress 17--The No. 2 Falcons defeated the Chargers at Cypress to improve their conference record to 5-0 and overall record to 10-0. Cypress is 2-3 and 4-4.
