GOLDWYN WRITING PRIZE AWARDED
Susan M. Reinhart, 30, a graduate of UC Riverside, was awarded a $5000 first prize in the Samuel Goldywn Writing Awards for her screenplay, “Saigon, Goodnight.”
Marie Angella Kellier, 30, a graduate of UCLA, took second prize of $2,500 for “Solita’s Rise.” Frank Marlowe, a graduate student at UCLA, won third place and $1,000 for “Labyrinth.” The competition, established in 1955, is open to graduate and undergraduate students at all UC campuses.
