Continental accused United of unfair tactics.
Continental Airlines charged that United Airlines violated antitrust laws by failing to load Continental’s new cut-rate winter fares into its computer reservation system. United is legally obligated to display other airlines’ fares in the computer system, used exclusively by more than 7,400 travel agents, Continental said. Continental said it will amend its $500-million antitrust suit against United and American Airlines, the two largest vendors of computer reservation systems.
