JoAnn Bitner is aware, as an elder of the Presbyterian church, what God has to say about the sanctity of marriage. She also should know how he views adultery--as sin, along with murder, rape, stealing, lying, etc. How can she, knowing how God feels, run a support group for women engaged in adulterous affairs? And rationalize it as being a “sane human being who is responsible, and who has the ability to be non-judgmental.” Now I would be the first to agree these women and men need help--but not advice on how to continue in their affairs.
