Pomona Prep Denies Deciding on Colorado
Contrary to reports by the Associated Press, running back J.J. Flannigan of Pomona High has not made a verbal commitment to play football for the University of Colorado and will not announce his choice between the Buffaloes and California until Monday.
“Let them write what they want to write,” Flannigan said Thursday night in denying the commitment. Flannigan has scratched USC from consideration and canceled a recruiting trip to Hawaii.
